Overview
The Nurse Delegation training and certification program, under Washington State law, allows Nursing Assistants (NAR/CNA) working in certain settings to perform certain tasks–such as administration of prescription medications or blood glucose testing–normally performed only by licensed nurses. This DDA training provides an introduction to delegation and your role in the medication administration process.

Notes
Class is from 8am – 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Students must arrive on time to be admitted to the class.

Cost
No charge to agency for DDA contracted agency employees who attend training. A $75 cancellation fee will be invoiced for failure to attend. Please see information under Registrations and Cancellations for more details.
Individual Provider (IP) and Adult Family Home staff = $75. Payment must be provided upon arrival to class.

Registrations and Cancellations
Students must register using the PSRS Student Registration Request Form. Any cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance, or you may subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Student substitutions may be made up to 24 hours prior to the class to prevent the cancellation fee.
