In a time where the headlines focus on infections and casualties, it’s easy to forget that a single, trusting relationship can be the start to a safer community.

Over $125k and counting has been spent in response to a crisis that quickly emerged and has endured with unfortunate resilience. Like all of us, PSRS was taken by surprise by the Covid 19 pandemic and had to jump into action. See what we are doing.

2019 was a great year for PSRS thanks to all of our staff and supporters. We accomplished quite a bit! Here's a snapshot of what the year looked like.

Since its founding, PSRS has been committed to maintaining a Deaf friendly environment and culture, for our employees and for the people we support. PSRS employs more than 25 people who are deaf or hard of hearing and is invested in continuing to recruit. Learn more

Darion Mallard came to PSRS five years ago to make a difference. And he has. His unique perspective and experience have helped him to foster a special connection with the person he supports. PSRS is so excited, and thankful for all of the generous supporters who stepped up to make this GiveBig a great success. Thanks to you, we exceeded our goal and raised a total of $10,533!

This past November, PSRS parent Jeanne Richmond spoke at Legislative Night to advocate for her sons and for Supported Living. Jeanne knows the reality all too well - lack of funding leads to high turnover, which can impact the quality of support her adult children and others receive. Jeanne is not alone and she wanted legislators to know about it.
